DIRK FOURIE has been working in the Electrical Engineering field on Mines and Industries across Africa.
As Managing Director of both LIGHTCON Zambia, operating on the Zambian Copper-Belt and OGAMBI Electrical registered in Kolwezi DRC he has accumulated experience that allows him to Manage and execute Electrical Projects and tailor specific electrical solutions for his customers.
Hlubi Mboya-Arnold burst into the entertainment industry in 1998 with her ground-breaking and iconic role as Nandipha Sithole, an HIV positive character, on SABC drama series, Isidingo. The first on-screen, HIV positive character on the African continent. 25 years later, as a multi award winning actress, Hlubi has starred in internationally acclaimed films, earning her the reputation of being one of South Africa’s, top echelon, powerful performers.
Based on her personal convictions, stepping into social activism flowed naturally for Hlubi and since 2005 Hlubi has been a Global Goodwill Ambassador against Hunger for the United Nations World Food Programme, which was awarded the 2020 Nobel Peace Prize “for its efforts to combat hunger, for its contribution to bettering conditions for peace in conflict-affected areas and for acting as a driving force in efforts to prevent the use of hunger as a weapon of war and conflict.”
Hlubi has travel throughout Southern Africa as a 46664 Global Ambassador for the Mandela Education Programme, focusing in training and development. During July, 2019, Hlubi was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Board.
Mrs Mboya-Arnold is the Executive Director and Producer of Future CEOs, a business whose mission is to create entrepreneurial focused education initiatives, specifically directed at those whose socio-economic circumstances, exclude them from accessing top professional development opportunities.
Mrs Mboya-Arnold is the Chairperson of Sunshine Cinema, an NGO for Africa’s first solar powered cinema network, of youth impact facilitators.
Hlubi has completed numerous qualifications in Finance and worked as a business development consultant for six years at Morebo Financial Services PTY (Ltd).
In an effort to invest in herself and increase her understand of business, Mrs Mboya-Arnold is currently reading for her MBA at the only internationally-quadruple-accredited, global business school in Africa, Henley Business School.
